(Des Moines, IA) — PoliticalKitchen.com announces its return to regular posting of humorous political videos that are no joke. Prompted by demand indicated by the number of site visits to watch old videos, the vlog site is up and running again and now posting every Monday except Christmas Eve. Plus, Political Kitchen will be adding a new feature, “Breakfast in Bed With the Clintons.”

Bob Singer, Political Kitchen’s writer, producer, and host said, “I’m amazed at the site traffic and the e-mails I received during the year I was away. It’s now time to treat the audience with quality features even if there are no sponsors, no TV deals, and no money coming in. But, because Iowa Public Television asked me to write and perform a couple of segments about the caucuses, I now own two new shirts, a bow tie, and an apron. It will be a classier show.”

In addition to the public television call for Political Kitchen features, Political Kitchen was also reviewed this year at Food Network. Consideration at the network followed a Gannett syndicated story that followed a rejection at CNN. “Isn’t it funny how everyone wants the next best thing but don’t want to do anything different,” Singer said as he ironed one of his new shirts while microwaving a TV dinner.”

Bob Singer, a New Jersey native, is a former political reporter at WHO-TV in Des Moines. He is also a former Washington, D.C. communications director. When he was a reporter, his work appeared on NBC network news programs. As a national communications executive, Singer contributed to stories broadcast on ABC News 20/20, Good Morning America, CNN, and stories published in Fortune magazine, the L.A. Times, and Gannett newspapers. Presently, he is Director of Grants and Contracts at a college.

Political Kitchen. “It’s original, smart, not fake news, and a remedy for those who are suffering from late night political comedy withdrawal,” boasts the host. Despite the PoliticalKitchen.com banner message mentioning the writers’ strike, Singer claims he is not a threat to the picketing writers. “The networks refused my offer too. And, I’m not making any money right now either,” said the creative but overdrawn content creator.
